Summer is here and the WeCrochet team is making plans on how best to spend this crafting season, from reminiscing about past haircuts to dyeing yarns with the kids. This week on the WeCrochet Podcast we’re continue our deep dive into crochet testing by talking to Denise Clark aka @TheCajunCrafter about size inclusivity for testers.
First up Heather, Katelyn and Regan talk all about bad haircuts and hair dyeing. Heather shares about her high school hair dyeing fiasco while Katelyn confesses about the most recent bad haircut she’s given to someone else.
Next Heather talks to Denise, @TheCajunCrafter, about her work as a crochet tester and her passion to make sure that size inclusive testers are not only included in crochet testing but also are part of the pattern’s release in a thoughtful way. Denise is known for her Instagram photos where she models her tested designs with grace, confidence and sass.
Lastly Sara, Heather and Katelyn listen to a listener’s voicemail and Sara shares some new and exciting plans for has for the summer.

Our winter issue has seven wonderfully warm and cozy creations for you to make! With the snow piling up outside, we really feel that Winter is the best time to crochet. There is nothing better than being inside a warm home, curled under your favorite throw, while crocheting a beautiful masterpiece that you will treasure for years to come.

Cookies + Crochet + Furls Hooks = An AMAZING Winter!
Since we are all spending more time than ever at home, and winter has us cozying up indoors, we thought it was fitting that the Winter theme be Cookies! A little sweet treat to help us through the last couple weeks of 2020. We have each included our favorite cookie recipes that we made growing up, were passed down from our parents, or are something we enjoy making with our own kids! Even our designs are named after baked goodies!

We want to make sure our readers get the most out of each issue, and are able to maximize the potential of each design.

On this episode of the WeCrochet Podcast we’re celebrating our new collaboration with crochet designer Janine Myska of Knits ‘n Knots, and her new collection, Cool Crochet for Warm Days and also touching upon size-inclusiveness and why it’s important in crochet designs.
First, now that it’s officially fall Sara and Heather chat about their completed crochet projects this summer. Sara was busy crocheting nine different projects and Heather was busy with her crochet doodles. Sara gives Heather advice for how to crochet garments that actually fit. Then they talk about size inclusivity and what WeCrochet does to make sure our patterns fit as many people as possible.
Next, Sara gets together with Janine Myska of Knits ‘n Knots and talks about how she got started with crochet and the creation of the Cool Crochet for Warm Days collection, featuring 5 new size-inclusive crochet garment designs.
